Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group

Welcome!

Founded in 1998, the Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group (SLUGs) is dedicated to promoting ultrarunning in the central Midwest. Fostering a community atmosphere, our club welcomes new and seasoned runners alike. If you are looking for great races, a friendly atmosphere and a group of people that are passionate about ultrarunning then you are in the right place.

SLUGS currently host five annual races with distances ranging from 20K to 100 miles. Additionally the club sponsors multiple charity runs, coordinates semi-annual trail maintenance, hosts aid stations at various running events throughout the Midwest and much more. Come join in the fun.

    The course is a measured 2.425 mile loop through the wooded northwest corner of Route 66 State Park. The course is a wide path consisting of thin pavement, chip n seal and some fine gravel.
