RACE DIRECTOR

PHIL MARRA

Phil has been a SLUG member since 2009.  He’s an avid runner and two-time winner of the Eastern Missouri Ultra Series (EMUS) but admits he has a long way to go to be a better runner.

He started directing a new SLUG race in 2019, the Minnie Ha Ha 6 & 12 Hour, to fill the void of the Flatlanders 6 & 12, which ended the previous year. Tailwind endurance has been our sponsor since 2019.

Fun fact: Phil’s favorite ultra-races are the timed loop ones!
